| What involves the CE marking on the Lifting Eyebolts and Eyenuts? |

With the application of the CE-mark on the Lifting Eyebolts and Eyenuts the Machinery Directive imposes the respect of essential health and safety requirements in order to prevent the particular risks due to a lifting operation: Beyond to the technical characteristics each lifting accessory or each commercially indivisible batch of lifting accessories must be accompanied by instructions for use and an EC declaration of conformity must be available.
The CE is a marking of conformity with only the single communitarian technical standard and it does not have any relation with other attestations of conformity to other types of norms.
