| What is the difference between white and yellow zinc plating? |

The color is given by the last treatment of plating, called passivating.
White zinc plating:
- preferable for the beautiful color;
- Resistence to the salt-spray test approximately 50 hours;
- commonly used to protect items that are placed internally.
Yellow zinc plating:
- optimal corrosion protection;
- Resistence to the salt-spray test approximately 150 hours;
- Advisable when parts have to be exposed to open air.
